The vision
The Beam Park regeneration, with these proposals, will provide over 3,900 much needed homes across phases 1-8 of the development. This will include the provisions of 50% affordable housing, and 25% family housing. Beam Park, when completed, will provide high-quality public space, as well as a medical centre, which not only serves the new residents, but up to 7,000 people in the surrounding area. In addition, two schools, retail spaces, a gym, nursery, community facilities, a multi-faith space will also be delivered.
Phases 1 and 2 of Beam Park are currently underway and delivering over 1,000 new homes as well as the medical facility, retail space within the Square and the new proposed railway station. New Beam Park residents have already begun moving into their homes.
