Homes for Local People with Phase B: Delivering c400 New Homes with 50% Affordable Housing

Phase B continues the momentum of Beam Park's development, creating a vibrant, sustainable, and well-connected community for residents. This phase will bring further enhancements, including additional green spaces and more private and affordable homes.

The development of Phase B will enhance local services and amenities by introducing new facilities and improving existing infrastructure. This includes additional green spaces, such as the proposed “South Gardens” to the South of the site. The development will also provide new homes, including 50% affordable housing, to support the local population.

The proposals

New Homes

Phase B will deliver c400 new homes, contributing to the overall goal of over 3,900 homes across the entire Beam Park development.

50% of these homes will be designated as affordable housing, addressing the local housing needs in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.

Community Amenities

Extensive green spaces will be incorporated, including new play areas which will promote outdoor living and improve the local environment.

Sustainable Development

The design of Phase B prioritises sustainability, including energy-efficient buildings and the promotion of alternative transport options like cycling and walking.

Our plans will promote the use of public transport, cycling, and walking, contributing to a reduction in traffic congestion and a more sustainable neighbourhood.

Inclusive Design

The development will include spaces designed to be accessible for all residents, with particular focus on providing affordable housing options, public spaces, and improved facilities that foster inclusivity.
